Non-decoupling new particles

A bstract We initiate the study of a new class beyond Standard Model states that we call “Loryons.” They have defining characteristic being non-decoupling, in sense their physical mass is dominated by contribution from vacuum expectation value Higgs boson. The stakes are high: discovery Loryon would tell us electroweak symmetry must be non-linearly realized effective field theory Model. Loryons masses bounded above perturbative unitarity considerations and thus define finite parameter space for exploration. After providing complete catalog representations under mild assumptions, turn to examining constraints on couplings measurements, precision tests, direct collider searches. show most fermionic candidates already ruled out (with some notable exceptions), while much scalar still wide open discovery.
